Install DS Lister Pro from the Chrome Web Store (preferred)
DS Lister Pro is a Chrome extension that turns AliExpress, Amazon and Walmart product pages into editable eBay listing drafts—you review every field, then publish from your own browser session. The supported install path is the Chrome Web Store: one click, automatic updates, no unzipping.
This guide covers CWS install, migrating off an older ZIP / unpacked build, first-product setup, and trust-safe expectations (including paid trial, not free). Live buttons and screenshots live on the site install page. Soft store CTA: DS Lister Pro on the Chrome Web Store.
What you are installing (accurate product story)
| It does | It does not |
|---|---|
| Capture images, variations and specs from supported supplier pages | Auto-order from suppliers |
| Build titles and image-led descriptions with fee-aware pricing estimates | Sync inventory as a full ERP |
| Flag brand-risk patterns as a pre-publish aid | Provide legal advice, complete VeRO protection, or an account-safety guarantee |
| Fill an editable eBay draft via your logged-in Chrome session (no API keys / OAuth for that flow) | Publish without your review |

Before you click Add to Chrome
- Use Google Chrome (or a Chromium browser that can install from the Chrome Web Store—verify your browser’s store support).
- Decide which Chrome profile will hold both DS Lister Pro and your eBay seller login. Listing uses that session.
- Have (or create) a DS Lister Pro account. Plans and credits are on select plan—paid trial, not a free trial; confirm live terms before you pay.
- Optional for educators promoting the tool: read the affiliate programme and apply on /affiliate/.
Part 1 — Chrome Web Store install (recommended)
- Open the Chrome Web Store listing for DS Lister Pro (or use Add to Chrome on dslisterpro.com/install/).
- Click Add to Chrome, then confirm Add extension in the popup.
- Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions) → find DS Lister Pro → pin so the icon stays visible.
- Click the extension icon → sign in with your DS Lister Pro account → enter your eBay store name once when prompted.
That is the whole install—no ZIP, no “Load unpacked”, no folder to keep on disk. Store builds receive updates automatically.
Already on the ZIP / unpacked version? Migrate cleanly
Early or private builds may have been installed as a ZIP (unpacked extension loaded from a folder). That path does not auto-update; you reinstall when a new build ships. Prefer switching to the store:
- Open
chrome://extensions. - Find the old DS Lister Pro entry and click Remove.
- Running ZIP + store copies together can put duplicate buttons on product pages.
- Install from the Chrome Web Store (or the Add to Chrome button on /install/).
- Sign in again if needed.
Your account, plan and listing/credit counts live on the cloud account—not inside the extension binary. Removing the ZIP build does not cancel your plan. Re-check select plan and the dashboard if anything looks off.
If you must keep an unpacked / beta build (advanced)
The site’s install page documents a beta path for advanced users: a manual install that can send technical reports after listings so issues are spotted earlier. Important limits:
- It does not update itself—you reinstall each new version.
- Keep the extension folder where Chrome loaded it; deleting or moving the folder removes the extension.
- After replacing folder contents for an update, use the refresh control on
chrome://extensions.
Most sellers should stay on the Chrome Web Store version. Use beta only when support asks you to, or when you knowingly accept manual updates.
Part 2 — List your first product (after install)
Once the store extension is signed in:
- Log into eBay in the same Chrome profile as the extension. No API keys, no OAuth for this draft-fill flow.
- Open a product on AliExpress, Amazon or Walmart (sources positioned on About / CWS; confirm the live product page works in your session).
- Click List on eBay (or the equivalent control the extension shows on the page).
- An eBay draft opens and fills: title, pricing estimates, variations and description.
- Review before publish—price with fees, postage, item specifics, photos and brand risk. Only then click List on eBay.
Workflow how-tos:
- AliExpress → eBay
- Amazon → eBay
- Walmart → eBay
- Variations grids: eBay variations / MSKU from AliExpress
- Early store discipline: first five eBay listings
Trust-safe habits on day one
- Paid trial, not free — confirm current trial and credit allowances on select plan. Do not promise viewers a free trial.
- Fee math before List — profit pricing · fees UK/US · Germany fees. Estimates are estimates; Seller Hub invoices win.
- Brand-risk flags — pause for your review; not legal advice, complete VeRO protection, or an account-safety guarantee. They do not clear VeRO. Read VeRO for dropshippers and the deeper VeRO brand-list workflow.
- Promoted listings later — do not advertise IP-risky inventory; see Promoted Listings ROI.
- UK sellers — postage / VAT orientation: eBay UK dropshipping from AliExpress.
Follow eBay’s current drop shipping and IP materials for your site.
Troubleshooting quick checks
| Symptom | Try this |
|---|---|
| No extension icon | Puzzle-piece menu → pin DS Lister Pro |
| Duplicate List buttons on supplier pages | Remove old ZIP build on chrome://extensions, keep only the store copy |
| Draft does not fill | Confirm eBay login in the same profile; refresh the supplier page; sign out/in on the extension |
| “Wrong account / no credits” | Open dashboard via /install/ → Go to dashboard; confirm plan on select plan |
| Store install blocked by org policy | Use a personal Chrome profile or ask IT; we cannot bypass managed-browser locks |

For educators and affiliates
If you teach eBay dropshipping and want to recommend the extension:
- Programme SEO landing: DS Lister Pro affiliate programme
- Apply / codes: /affiliate/ · legal: affiliate terms
- Trust-safe promo lines: draft-then-review, no API keys for the draft flow, paid trial not free, VeRO flags are advisory only
Disclose affiliate relationships where CAP / FTC / platform rules require it. No earnings guarantees.
FAQ
Is the Chrome Web Store version the same product as the ZIP build?
Same product family; the store build is the supported path with automatic updates. Migrate off ZIP unless support directs you to a beta unpack.
Do I need eBay API keys?
No for this listing flow. DS Lister Pro fills drafts using your open eBay browser session. Details: non-API explainer.
Is there a free trial?
No. DS Lister Pro uses a paid trial model—confirm live price, length and listing allowances on select plan.
Will installing clear VeRO risk?
No. Installation only adds the extension. Brand and IP checks remain your responsibility.
Where do plans and credits live?
On your DS Lister Pro account in the cloud—see select plan and the dashboard—not inside the .crx / folder alone.
Soft next step
- Add DS Lister Pro from the Chrome Web Store (or start on /install/).
- Pin, sign in, and log into eBay in the same profile.
- Draft one unbranded product and review every field.
- Continuing? select plan (paid trial, not free).
- Teaching this workflow? Affiliate programme → /affiliate/. When you want fee-aware drafts with human review—not autopilot orders—the store install is the cleanest way to start.
