eBay Dropshipping Profit & Price Calculator (US & UK)

Enter what the product costs you on AliExpress, Amazon or Walmart, and this calculator shows the eBay fees, your net profit, your break-even price, and the list price you need for a target margin. eBay charges its final value fee on the whole sale, including postage and (in the US) sales tax, so a price that looks profitable on the supplier page often isn't. Free, no login, runs in your browser.

Built by DS Lister Pro. DS Lister Pro is a Chrome extension that drafts AliExpress and Amazon products into eBay listings; the seller reviews and publishes. This calculator works on its own and you don't need the extension to use it. Fee presets checked against eBay's own fee pages on .

Know your price? Turn the product into an eBay draft.

DS Lister Pro reads the AliExpress, Amazon or Walmart page, applies your fee and profit rules, and fills an eBay listing draft in your own browser session. You check every field and press List yourself. It doesn't place supplier orders or sync stock. Plans start with a paid trial.

How the calculation works

eBay calculates its fees on the total amount of the sale: item price + postage charged to the buyer + (US) sales tax. This calculator uses:

What this calculator can't tell you

It can't tell you whether the product will sell, whether the supplier's price or stock will change after you list, or whether an item is allowed on eBay. Check eBay's dropshipping and product sourcing policy and VeRO before you list branded items. It doesn't give tax advice either.

FAQ

How do I calculate eBay dropshipping profit?

Net profit = what the buyer pays you (item + postage) − supplier cost − supplier shipping − other costs − eBay fees − ad fees − any refund reserve. eBay's final value fee is a percentage of the total sale (item, postage and, in the US, sales tax) plus a per-order fee.

What are eBay's fees for most categories in 2026?

As checked on 7 October 2026: eBay US (no Store) charges 13.6% of the total sale up to $7,500 for most categories, plus $0.30 per order of $10 or less or $0.40 per order over $10. eBay UK business sellers pay 12.9% in most categories plus a 0.35% regulatory operating fee and £0.30/£0.40 per order, with VAT on fees. Category rates differ.

Does eBay charge fees on postage and sales tax?

Yes. The final value fee is calculated on the total amount of the sale, which includes postage charged to the buyer and, in the US, sales tax. Promoted Listings general fees use the same base.

What price should I list an AliExpress product at on eBay?

Use Find my price: enter supplier cost, supplier shipping, fee rate, ad rate and your target margin. The calculator solves for the item price, then rounds up to .99. Then check it against sold listings for the same item, because a price that works for you still has to sell.

Do UK private sellers pay these fees?

No. eBay UK lists no final value fee for UK private sellers. Dropshipping is a business activity, so this calculator uses business-seller rates for the UK.

Is this calculator exact?

No, it's an estimate. Your real fees depend on category, Store subscription, seller level, international sales, currency conversion and promotions. Check eBay's fee pages and your invoices.
