eBay Title Checker for AliExpress, Amazon & Walmart Titles

Paste a supplier product title and this checker flags what will hurt you on eBay: going over the 80-character limit, supplier filler like "Hot Sale 2026 New", other marketplace names, brand and counterfeit wording, shouting caps and repeated words. It then suggests a clean title you can edit. Free, no login, and nothing you paste leaves your browser.

Built by DS Lister Pro. DS Lister Pro is a Chrome extension that drafts AliExpress and Amazon products into eBay listings; the seller reviews and publishes. You don't need the extension to use this checker. Rules last reviewed .

Stays in your browser. Any match is flagged so you can check whether you're allowed to use it.

What the checker found

Suggested clean title

The suggestion only removes and tidies. Add the words buyers actually search for (size, colour, material, model, compatibility) and read it once before you use it.

Cleaning titles one by one is slow.

DS Lister Pro reads the supplier page, builds an eBay title, description, variations and fee-aware price, and fills an eBay listing draft in your own browser session. It also pauses on brand-risk words for you to review. You check every field and publish yourself. Plans start with a paid trial.

What makes a good eBay title for a dropshipped product

A good eBay title says exactly what the item is, in the words a buyer types, within 80 characters. Put the product type and the most important spec first, then size, colour, material, quantity and compatibility. Leave out anything a buyer would never search for.

What this checker can't do

It doesn't know every protected brand, it can't see your item, and it doesn't check category or item-specifics rules. A clean title doesn't make an item allowed on eBay. If an item looks branded, check the VeRO guide for dropshippers before you list. This isn't legal advice.

FAQ

How long can an eBay title be?

Up to 80 characters, including spaces. Use them for words buyers search for: product type, key spec, size, colour, material and compatibility.

Can I copy an AliExpress title straight into eBay?

You can, but it's usually a poor title. Supplier titles are often over 80 characters and full of filler like "Hot Sale", "2026 New", "Free Shipping" or "Dropshipping", and sometimes brand names the supplier has no right to use.

Can I put a brand name in my eBay title?

Only if the item is made by that brand, or if it's genuinely compatible and you say so ("compatible with" or "for"). eBay's intellectual property policy prohibits using brand names to attract views, and its counterfeit policy bars "dupe" with a brand name.

Should I write "Brand New" in the title?

Usually not. Condition has its own field, and the eight characters are better spent on a spec or size buyers search for.

Does this checker guarantee my listing won't be removed?

No. It flags common problems with simple rules. Check eBay's policies and VeRO before listing branded or brand-adjacent items.
