Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alpine Adverts LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the DS Lister Pro browser extension and web application (together, the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects your information. DS Lister Pro is a productivity tool for eBay sellers and is not affiliated with eBay Inc., AliExpress, Amazon, or any marketplace.
1. Information we collect
- Account information - the email address and password you use to create an account. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
- Billing information - when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status. We never receive or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details - those are held by Stripe.
- Usage and entitlement data - your plan tier, listing allowance, credits, and counts of actions you perform (for example, listings created this month) so we can enforce plan limits.
- Device information - a randomly generated device identifier and a basic browser fingerprint (such as browser type and platform) used to secure your licence and prevent account sharing and abuse.
- Support and diagnostics - if you submit a bug report, we receive a diagnostic snapshot you choose to send, which may include extension logs, the product and listing details you were working on, and your account email. It is used only to diagnose and fix your issue.
- Website advertising measurements - the Meta Pixel records page visits, plan views, completed registrations, checkout starts, and verified checkout purchases or trials, together with browser, cookie, and page URL information. Purchase events include the amount and currency.
The extension processes marketplace product data (titles, images, prices, variations) locally in your browser to build eBay drafts.
Diagnostics by install channel. DS Lister Pro is distributed through theChrome Web Store and as a direct download from our website. If you installed it from the Chrome Web Store, diagnostic data leaves your browser only when you click "Submit bug report" - nothing is sent automatically. If you installed the beta build downloaded from our website, the extension additionally sends us an automatic technical report about each listing you create (activity logs and the listing's product details) so we can find and fix faults during the beta; this is part of what the beta programme is for. Diagnostic reports are retained only as long as needed to investigate and are deleted afterwards.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To process subscriptions, trials, and listing credits through Stripe.
- To enforce plan limits and our single-device licence, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To respond to support requests and fix bugs.
- To send essential service communications (for example, password resets and billing notices).
- To measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising.
3. Legal bases for processing (UK/EU users)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract(providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (securing the Service and preventing abuse), legal obligation (tax and accounting), and consent where required.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, cloud functions).
- Google Tag Manager (loading and managing website measurement tags). Data collected by those tags depends on the tags enabled on the website. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe (payment processing and billing).
- AI processing providers used, at your option, to generate listing titles and descriptions.
- Meta (website advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel). Our configured events do not include your email, password, payment card details, or support message contents. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dslisterpro.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
8. Cookies and local storage
The web app uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and run the Service. Our website also uses the Meta Pixel and advertising cookies to measure visits and conversions from our ads. Local storage helps prevent a checkout conversion from being counted again when you refresh the confirmation page. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and advertising preferences through Meta.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, server-side authorization for all account changes, and locked database rules that prevent the client from modifying its own plan or credits. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
